A cookie is a small text note a website stores in your browser. Webcornerbase uses very few. The banner on your first visit lets you accept or reject non-essential cookies. Rejecting does not close the readings, the journal, or the contact form. Your choice is stored in this browser under the key webcornerbase_cookie_consent.

Types we use
Essential. Needed to remember that you have seen the banner and chosen accept or reject. The site cannot record that choice without this storage.
Analytics. Used only if you press Accept. They help us see which pages about readings and visits are opened. They are not required to request a visit.
We do not use advertising cookies.

wc_analytics is set only if you accept. If you reject, it is not set, and any earlier copy is deleted. To change a stored choice, clear site data for webcornerbase.click, then use the banner again.
How to manage or disable cookies
Use Accept or Reject on the banner. You can also block cookies in your browser settings (often under Privacy or Site settings). Blocking all cookies may hide the banner’s stored choice, so it can appear again; the rest of the site still works.
Third-party cookies
Pages load typefaces from Google Fonts. Google may receive your IP address and browser details as a result of that request. We do not place a Google analytics cookie of our own. Images on some pages are requested from Unsplash, Pexels, or similar public image hosts; those hosts may set their own cookies according to their policies. We do not control those notes.
Impact of disabling
If you reject analytics, we simply lack a count of which journal notes are read. Readings, visit descriptions, rates, and the contact form continue. If you block all storage, you may see the banner again on the next visit.
